Typical Modernized Service Specialist Responsibilities

While each agency’s needs are unique, all Modernized Service Specialists are trained in core tasks essential to agency operations. We ensure they possess the up-to-date skills and expertise needed to deliver outstanding support to your office.

Please note – you need to be in a fully modernized state to qualify for this service. If you are a current BOD and/or Service Sidekick customer, we can work with you on a transition plan for this role post modernization.

Daily Task Management

Your MSS starts each morning with Open Service Tasks, Action Needed Cases, and Shared Folders so nothing falls through the cracks before your team even logs in.

Your in-house team can also assign tasks directly to your MSS for Apps and Changes to ensure they process correctly.

Document & E-Sig Follow-Up

Your MSS handles all document and e-signature follow-up, including:
• Discount Supporting Docs — 2 contacts (text reminder, then phone call)
• Sel/Rej Supporting Docs — resent with 2 contacts (text reminder, then phone call)
• Electronic docs resent as e-sig notices come across BOD

Cancellation & Reinstatement

Before a policy cancels, your MSS takes action:
• Account Closings, Balance Due Cancellations, MTG Cancellation Notices — up to 2 texts and a final phone call before the cancellation date
• Lapsed non-pay accounts are pended to 5 business days before reinstatement. Your MSS calls to collect payment. If unsuccessful, they set up a win-back for your in-house team.

Claims Follow-Up

Your MSS works your Unreviewed Claims list every morning using our proven 3-touch process keeping policyholders informed and your team in the loop.
